Beau is hopelessly in love with one of her best friends, Amber. To preface: This is never going to work out. Amber isn't in to women.

However, Beau has a false hope she is clinging onto: Amber is a cannibal. 

In a desperate attempt to feel her closeness, Beau offers herself to be eaten. And so, a dysfunctional and delusional relationship starts. Beau loses more and more of herself (literally) each time they meet.

Who is taking advantage of who?
